Established more than 30 years ago by singer/guitarists David Field and Greg Smith and harmonica player Dr Frank Cheok,
The Tokens have developed from an accoustic folk group to a full scale Country/Rock band,
with up to 10 members performing at once.

David and Greg still head up the vocals with lead guitarists Garry Travers, David Carter, and rhythm guitarist Patrick McMahon
chiming in with solos and backing harmonies. Add to these one of three piano/keyboard players players, Hugh Moran, Paul Haire
and Frank Curran, harmonica player Dr Frank Cheok, drummer Peter Lambert and bassman Phil McDonald, with guest musicians
supplementing and The Tokens are sure to produce a most enjoyable music and song feast!

The Tokens' performances weave through sweet ballads such as Danny Boy to foot tapping standards like All of Me,
country music standards Country Roads and Walk on By, medleys of music of Johnny Cash, The Seekers and The Beatles,
with dance and rock songs such as Sway and Gloria.
